4 Months!!!

I can't believe that my baby is 4 months already! She is growing up way too fast! She has gotten so big and learned so many things this month, it's amazing how quickly they catch onto things! She is definitely getting into the super fun and super busy stage though. We are going to be in trouble when she becomes mobile! :) But we love our little Claire Bear!

Here are her 4 month stats...

At her 4 month check-up she weighed 14 pounds (80th percentile) and was 26 inches long (95th percentile).

She is really good at sitting up and holding her head up.

She likes to play with her toes and gets really frustrated when they keep kicking and she can't grab a hold of them. Haha!

She has already learned to pull off her head bands (and daddy encourages her too! grrrr...) and she will not keep socks on so I have to put tights on under her pants.

She loves to suck on her clothes...especially her dresses.

She can pull her paci out and put it back into her mouth.

She can roll over from her back to her belly and her belly to her back. (But she won't do it unless she has an audience.)

She loves being the center of attention, especially at church.

She LOVES to watch tv.

She likes to grab things like earrings, necklaces, glasses, and hair.

She likes to feel daddy's face when he hasn't shaved, she thinks it's funny and will rub her hands all over and squeal at the same time.

She likes to read books but only if they rhyme.

She has graduated from the bassinet and now sleeps in her own room in her own crib!

She now drinks 5 oz of formula and drinks from a stage three bottle nipple but she still hasn't gotten used to it coming out so fast so most of it ends up on her face and burp rag. hehe.

She smiles ALL the time and now even poses for the camera.

She loves to hear her own voice and will talk and sing all day long.

She has even started laughing! I love it!

She hates going to sleep and will fight you to the death until she passes out in your arms. But when she wakes up and you go in to get her she will kick her legs really fast and hard and smile and squeal! It's the cutest thing and you can just tell that she is so excited to see you!

She loves her car seat and loves the stroller.

She has started reaching for people that she recognizes and will lean her forehead on theirs. (It's her way of showing affection.) She even gives mommy and daddy kisses. She holds her mouth open really wide and puts it on our cheeks. It's very slobbery but sweet!

She has learned how to blow bubbles and she has learned how to spit with her tongue sticking out! It's pretty funny!

She even has a favorite blanky now!

She loves bath time and has learned to splash really good!

She always sleeps with her hands behind her head.

She is in size two diapers and 3-6 month clothes but that won't last for very long!

And she is just the happiest, sweetest, most wonderful baby! We love her death!
